Chapter 13 - The Corporate Restructuring
With Daniel and Patricia permanently removed from society, the legal reconstruction of Titan Security Solutions commenced under my direct, unchallengeable leadership.
Because the original patent holdings and intellectual property portfolios were legally anchored to my personal holding corporation—a detail Daniel had foolishly tried to bypass through fraudulent shell accounts—the board of directors unanimously voted to reinstate me as Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson of the Board.
On October 15th, I sat once again in the grand executive boardroom on the forty-second floor overlooking the glittering city skyline. The heavy mahogany double doors opened, and my new executive team—handpicked by Uncle Robert and myself—filed in for our inaugural strategic review.
“Good morning, everyone,” I said smoothly, standing up at the head of the conference table.
“Good morning, Madam CEO,” chorused the executive board in unison.
I looked around the table, noticing the complete shift in corporate culture. Gone were the sycophantic yes-men who enabled Daniel’s reckless embezzlement and arrogance. In their place were brilliant, ethical engineers, compliance officers, and legal strategists who understood that strength and integrity were the true pillars of sustainable innovation.
“Our first order of business,” I stated, opening my tablet to the quarterly financial audit, “is the complete dissolution of the offshore shell accounts established by the previous administration. Every dollar improperly diverted from our licensing revenue has been successfully repatriated and deposited into our primary R&D trust fund.”
The chief financial officer nodded appreciatively. “That gives us an immediate capital surplus of 4.8 million dollars to invest in our next-generation security architecture division.”
“Exactly,” I replied. “And we are launching a new philanthropic initiative dedicated to supporting chronic illness research and medical independence advocacy, funded directly by the forfeiture assets recovered from the trial.”
