Chapter 19 - Rebuilding from Ashes

The morning of the wedding arrived with pristine, clear blue skies.
The venue was not a grand corporate display like before, but the intimate, beautifully restored gardens of the newly opened Sterling Foundation Retreat at the Millbrook Inn.
Only fifty of their closest, true friends, loyal business partners, and family members were invited. The atmosphere was filled with genuine joy, laughter, and warmth.
Inside the bridal suite—a newly built, bright room overlooking the mirror pond—Amy stood in front of the mirror. Her dress was a custom creation of her own design: an exquisite ivory silk column gown with delicate floral lace trailing along the cape sleeves.
Marcus Vance knocked gently on the open door. "Are you ready, my dear?"
Amy turned, radiating absolute beauty and serenity. "I'm ready, Marcus."
Marcus held out his arm, his eyes shining with fatherly pride. "It is the greatest honor of my life to walk Robert's daughter down the aisle today."
"Thank you, Marcus," Amy said softly, taking his arm. "Thank you for being there when everything fell apart."
As the classical guitar began to play a romantic, uplifting melody, the double doors of the garden garden opened.

Amy walked down the stone path, surrounded by blooming red and white roses.
At the end of the aisle stood Julian. He wore a crisp black tuxedo, looking stunningly handsome. As he watched Amy walk toward him, tears of overwhelming love and gratitude glided unashamedly down his cheeks.
