Chapter 7 - The Price of Power

The power surged into Julian, or so it felt. Information flowed into his mind through the interface, a torrent of data that made him gasp. He saw it all—the connections, the bribes, the backroom deals that kept the city running.
He saw his father’s name, listed not as a master, but as a servant—a pawn in a much larger game.
"He was just a middleman," Julian whispered, his voice trembling. "He didn't own the city. He was just the custodian."
"And now you are," Leo added, standing beside him. "The question is, what will you do with the power?"
Julian looked at the screens, the map of the city becoming clearer with every passing second. He saw the slums, the high-rises, the desperate, and the greedy. He saw the systems of control, the invisible threads that kept everyone in their place.
He realized he could break them. He could burn it all down.
"I want to see the accounts," Julian said, his voice hardening. "All of them. I want to know who is really pulling the strings."
Leo’s expression changed, a flicker of something like respect crossing his face. "Be careful, Julian. The strings go deeper than you can imagine."
Julian began to filter the data, his fingers flying across the holographic interface. He was finding patterns, discrepancies, hidden caches of wealth that were being moved in real-time. He was tracing the money, following the trail to its source.

Suddenly, the screens turned blood-red.
"Warning," the voice boomed. "System breach detected. Unauthorized access by external entity."
