Six months after the gala disaster, Valeon Technologies held its annual global summit at the newly renovated Valeon Center in Manhattan. The grand auditorium was packed with over a thousand international executives, investors, and media representatives.

I stood backstage, adjusting the cuffs of my tailored midnight-blue blazer. The heavy silver heirloom pen rested securely in my pocket. My father stood beside me, watching with an expression of profound pride.

'Are you ready, Chairman Vale?' my father asked quietly, using the title that now rightfully belonged to me.

The auditorium doors opened, and Robert Sterling’s voice echoed over the state-of-the-art sound system: 'Ladies and gentlemen, Co-CEO and Chairman of Valeon Technologies, Claire Vale.'

I looked out over a thousand faces—faces filled with respect, admiration, and awe. Not a single person in this room doubted my intelligence, my strength, or my right to rule.

'Good morning, everyone,' I spoke into the microphone, my voice clear, steady, and commanding. 'Six months ago, this company stood at a crossroads. We faced a choice between superficial pageantry and unyielding integrity...'

I had found my place. It was right here, standing at the absolute apex of the world I had built.
