Three weeks later, the morning sun poured through the arched glass windows of the Sterling Corporate Tower penthouse boardroom. Richard Sterling sat at the head of the massive mahogany conference table, looking healthier, stronger, and more determined than he had in years. The corporate restructuring was complete; the stolen assets had been successfully repatriated, and both Victoria and Julian were awaiting federal trial in maximum-security custody.
Clara sat beside her father, her baby bump prominent in a sleek cream maternity dress, reviewing the final audit reports. Liam stood by her chair, his hand resting reassuringly on her shoulder.
"The board has officially ratified the new governance charter, Dad," Clara announced, looking up with a proud smile. "No more single-signatory vulnerabilities. Everything is transparent, secure, and dedicated entirely to sustainable energy development—just like you originally planned before the hostile takeover.
Richard smiled warmly, reaching across the table to squeeze her hand. "I couldn't have done it without you, Clara... and without Liam. You both saved my life and the family legacy.
"We're a team, Mr. Sterling," Liam replied with a quiet, confident grin. "And our family is about to get a whole lot stronger."

"Mr. Sterling, Ms. Sterling... you need to see this immediately. An anonymous digital ledger just dropped on the dark web containing classified files about the global syndicate Julian worked with.
Clara exchanged a quick, knowing glance with Liam. The storm had passed, but a much larger war was waiting on the horizon.
