Chapter 20 - A New Sunrise

The vow exchange took place under a lush canopy of white wisteria and golden sunlight.

"Julian," Amy said, looking directly into his tear-filled eyes, her voice steady and full of deep love. "When my world cracked open, you didn't try to fix the broken pieces—you helped me build a stronger foundation. You showed me that real love isn't about control or ambition; it's about courage, standing together in the storm, and choosing each other every single day. I give you my heart, my trust, and my entire life."

Julian took both of her hands in his, his grip warm and protective. "Amy," he spoke, his deep voice thick with emotion. "You brought light into the darkest corners of my life. You taught me what it means to fight for truth, to love without fear, and to build a future based on honor. I promise to cherish you, to honor your brilliant mind and beautiful soul, and to love you fiercely until my very last breath."

"By the authority vested in me," Father Thomas announced with a joyful smile, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. Julian, you may kiss your bride!"

Julian pulled Amy gently into his arms and kissed her deeply, as the intimate crowd erupted into joyous cheers, standing applause, and showers of fresh flower petals.

The reception that followed lasted well into the night. Laughter, music, and exquisite dining filled the garden pavilion under strings of warm fairy lights.

At midnight, Amy and Julian walked down to the edge of the mirror pond, holding flutes of champagne, listening to the soft rustle of the night breeze.

"A penny for your thoughts, Mrs. Bennett?" Julian murmured from behind, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her back against his chest.

Amy leaned her head back against his shoulder, looking up at the vast, star-filled sky.

"I was just thinking about how far we've come," Amy said softly, a peaceful smile touching her lips. "A year ago, I thought my life was over in Room 237. But looking back now... it was just the moment my real story began."

Julian kissed her cheek softly. "And what a beautiful story it is."

"And the best part," Amy whispered, turning in his arms to press her lips gently against his, "is that our forever is just getting started."
