Chapter 19 - Breaking the Crown

With the new democratic government firmly established and thriving, Mara and Grant officially celebrated their wedding in a breathtakingly beautiful, intimate ceremony held on a high mountain cliff overlooking the capital valley.

There were no massive political spectacles or elaborate state protocols. Surrounded by close friends, General Vasko, and former hotel colleagues invited from Boston, Mara and Grant exchanged sincere vows of eternal love, loyalty, and partnership under a clear, brilliant blue sky.

Mara wore a simple, elegant white silk dress adorned with delicate lace. In her hand, she held a bouquet of mountain wildflowers, her dark hair flowing softly in the gentle mountain breeze.

When the priest pronounced them husband and wife, Grant pulled Mara into a sweet, passionate kiss as the small gathering erupted into joyful applause and cheers.
