The Missing 47 Seconds

As Maya reached the floral altar, Director Thorne gently placed her hand into Daniel's.

"Take good care of her, Daniel," Thorne said warmly.

"With my life," Daniel promised.

The marriage officiant, a long-time family judge, stepped forward, smiling at the couple and the gathered guests.

"Dearly beloved," the judge began, his voice echoing warmly across the sunlit grounds. "We are gathered here today in the presence of God, family, and true friends to unite Daniel Vance and Maya Miller in holy matrimony. Their journey to this day has been tested by trials, proved by courage, and crowned by an unbreakable, triumphant love."

The judge turned to Daniel. "Daniel, do you take Maya to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, for as long as you both shall live?"

Daniel looked deeply into Maya's radiant eyes, his voice steady, rich, and filled with absolute devotion: "I do."

The judge turned to Maya. "Maya, do you take Daniel to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, for as long as you both shall live?"

Maya smiled through tears of pure joy, her voice ringing out like a silver bell: "I do."

"May we have the rings?" the judge asked.

Noah proudly stepped forward, presenting the velvet cushion. Daniel took the sparkling platinum ring and gently slid it onto Maya's finger. Maya took the gold band and slid it onto Daniel's finger.

"By the power vested in me," the judge announced triumphantly, "I now pronounce you Husband and Wife! Daniel, you may kiss your bride!"

Daniel pulled Maya gently into his arms, dipping her slightly as he kissed her passionately under the shower of falling white rose petals.
